Films Without Fertilizer

I spent about an hour yesterday looking for organic cotton sheets for my son’s new (organic) mattress.  It got me thinking: what would an organic film look like? 

The term “organic” is tossed around quite a bit amongst filmmakers, so what does that mean, exactly?  I looked up the term in my iMac dictionary and the first definition caught my attention:

 organic |ôrˈganik|
adjective
1 of, relating to, or derived from living matter : organic soils.
• (of food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents.

Imagine films that “derive from living matter without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents.”  Imagine…
